RC Car made from scratch

A small vehicle built around fast mechanical iteration.

This RC car was designed to test my knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, and control. The project combines custom 3d printed parts, pivot steering and motor driver components, and a responsive RX-G4 remote-control system into a durable vehicle that can be assembled, tested, and refined quickly. I modeled the parts with manufacturability in mind, then iterated on the fit and handling through hands-on prototyping.
